Evergreen offers a flag in the Patron Edit/Registration form to mark an account exempt from collections efforts. Due to the risk that enabling this setting for a Patron may disable other libraries’ ability to rightfully pursue collections efforts, use is discouraged except in extreme cases. Once selected, be sure to provide ample documentation in the Alerts, Notes, and on the Patron record to indicate why you have enabled this option.
To enable an exemption from collections, checkmark Collections: Exempt under the User Settings section of the Patron edit screen, or during registration.
