Aspen

Good afternoon!

 

We will be updating some library settings within Aspen on Friday, April 18. This will cause a reindex to occur beginning at 2am (ET) on Saturday, April 19, which will temporarily sever the connection between Aspen and Evergreen. This maintenance includes un-hiding non-holdable material for libraries that have requested this be done to their collections. We expect the reindex to take at least 36 hours to complete, but will not know the full extent until after the fact. Once the reindex completes, the Aspen server will restart the paused processes.

 

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to open libraries and hope that performing these changes during a holiday weekend will limit the impact.
