Q2 Invoices
The 2024 2nd Quarter invoices are now available via the web client. Payment will be due 35 days after receipt. Please contact Courtney Brown at 317-232-3691 or at cobrown@library.in.gov with any questions.
MessageBee Update #1
After some testing, we can confirm that dashes do not affect text notifications within MessageBee.
Regional User Groups
Registration for the upcoming Regional User Groups will open at the beginning of August. Check the calendar for dates and locations.
Adding Kanopy to Your Aspen Catalog
We have successfully side loaded our first set of Kanopy records into a library’s Aspen catalog. Thanks to Lowell Public Library for being our test subject!
Starting today, we can begin side loading other Kanopy collections! Please submit a helpdesk ticket requesting your Kanopy records to be loaded into your Aspen catalog. I will send you a link to a Google Drive folder where you will need to upload the most recent MARC records. You should be able to download this file via your Kanopy Dashboard.
Then, we will create the settings necessary for your specific collection and upload the records to your catalog.
Barcode Pool
The next Barcode Buying Pool begins on Monday, July 15 and runs until Friday, July 19. Check out the calendar event to access the form and more information.
MessageBee Update #2
Starting August 1, MessageBee will be sending “Welcome” messages to patrons that will allow them to opt out of future text notices. These should be sent prior to their first text notification. If they have received texts prior to the 1st, they won’t receive the welcome message.
