Good morning, all! Here are some updates for you!
Evergreen Indiana Annual Council Meeting
The Annual Evergreen Indiana Council Meeting will be held on Monday, March 11 at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT. Please remember that each Evergreen Indiana member library is a council member being represented by their library director or designee. At the Annual Evergreen Indiana Council meeting, the Evergreen Indiana Annual Report will be presented along with updates regarding staffing, projects, and more. Please register here and plan to attend this hour-long meeting.
“Personalized” Training
If someone at your library would like to set up a meeting to discuss training needs, contact me or request a time that works for you! Contact me directly at bdorsey@library.in.gov, 317-234-6624, or schedule a 30 minute meeting using the Bookings module.
We know that many times library staff cannot make a particular webinar because of the scheduled time, or they do plan to attend but desk coverage changes so they can no longer make it. We have the recordings available on our YouTube channel, but you can’t ask questions as soon as they come to you.

In this webinar, we will go over how holds work in Evergreen, how the patron and circulation matrices affect them, and how we can manage them. We’ll also learn the about the different types of holds and how to place them in the web client.
28: MARC From Scratch: TBD Edition

We will be cataloging a new item (TBD) from scratch! We will be going over the required and recommended MARC fields based on Evergreen Indiana Cataloging procedure and LoC/OCLC standards.
Documentation
I continue to make progress with updating our documentation to match the changes that came with the Evergreen Indiana 3.11.2 upgrade. Local Administration, Cataloging, and Catalog manuals have been updated.

The most recent OPAC webinar has been uploaded to the Evergreen Indiana Training YouTube channel. The recording for “Searching the Webinar” will be uploaded within the next 10 business days.
