Weekly Update—December 31, 2013

Year-End Wrap-Up

2013 has been a great year for Evergreen Indiana! We’ve welcomed 3 new member libraries on their go-lives and have 1 in the process of automating their collection. We have new staff administering the consortium, including a program coordinator, a sysadmin, and new training and support personnel. We’ve brought the payment program and mobile OPAC online. We serve almost 1 million Indiana residents with over 280,000 active users. We performed over 8.4 million circulations, processed more than a half million transits, and attended over 70 meetings, conferences, and trainings specifically to discuss Evergreen Indiana.

Congratulations on all you’ve accomplished, and we look forward to making 2014 even better!

Development News

The icon project was greenlighted earlier this month with sponsorship from MassLNC and BC Libraries Cooperative. The project was chosen as a top priority by EI members during the fall 2013 Development Survey. It is anticipated that the new code will be incorporated into the 2.6 build. Annual Report

We are working on data gathering for the annual report. You should receive a library specific report very soon with the data that can be extracted from the Evergreen ILS.
