DIG-ing Up Documentation
The 2013 Evergreen International DIG Hack-a-way was held on December 15, 2013. Evergreen Indiana was represented by Ruth Frasur of Hagerstown-Jefferson Twp Public Library. Training was provided for users new to AsciiDoc (the language used to write the official documentation), existing content was targeted for updates, and sections of the documentation were expanded and improved. If you are interested in contributing to the international documentation effort, the Document Interest Group is enthusiastically accepting new members!
Housekeeping
We completed a small housekeeping project to make items listed as non-circulating also non-holdable. Please place a helpdesk ticket if you discover items with this incorrectly set.
Committee News
The Patron Services Committee met on December 17, 2013. They approved the September 17, 2013 minutes.
Deadlines
Our final scheduled barcode buying pool will be the first full week in January. Please check your stocks and make sure you have plenty of supplies in case we have a brief gap in service.
