We are working on a composite report for members to use for their 2013 Annual Report Evergreen Indiana stats. Notice will be sent out as soon as that information is finalized and available!
Indiana Library Standards
Please keep in mind as you begin preparing for the 2013 Annual Report that in order to remain eligible for Evergreen Indiana, you must be standards-compliant. A big thanks and congratulations to all of our libraries that worked through their waivers this year! You’ve done a terrific job of demonstrating how important excellent quality of service is for your library and community.
Committee News
- The August 2013 Cataloging Committee minutes are now posted.
- The eContent Committee met on December 10, 2013. They hosted a presentation by Midwest Tape for hoopla and approved the October 10, 2013 minutes.
- The Executive Committee met on December 10, 2013. They approved the October 10, 2013 minutes.
Meetings
The Patron Services Committee will meet on December 17, 2013 at the Greenwood Public Library.
Committee meetings are open to the public, and all Evergreen Indiana members are invited to attend and participate.
Member News
Roberta Brooker is stepping down from the Indiana State Library on December 27, 2013; Connie Bruder will be assuming the role of Interim Director of the Indiana State Library while the search for a new State Librarian is completed.
Deadlines
Our final scheduled barcode buying pool will be the first week in January. Please check your stocks and make sure you have plenty of supplies in case we have a brief gap in service.
