2025 Committee Election Ballot

Nominations are still being accepted for the 2025 Committee Election ballot. Self nominations are encouraged! The following seats will be open. The call for nominations will close on Monday, March 31st at 8:00 am EST. The slate of nominees will be presented at the Annual Evergreen Indiana Council Meeting. If you would like to submit a nomination to candidacy for a seat on one of the Evergreen Indiana committees, please fill out this form.

Seats to be filled are as follows:

• Executive Committee
  • 2 Class B library representatives – 3 year term (2025-2028)
  • Class C library representative – 3 year term (2025-2028)
• Patron Services Committee
  • 3 Class A library representatives – 3 year term (2025-2028)
  • 2 Class B library representatives – 3 year term (2025-2028)
• Cataloging Committee
  • Up to 2 seats open to active Cat1 or Cat2 staff at member libraries; actively seeking participation from Class A and C libraries
• eContent Committee
  • Up to 3 seats open to staff at member libraries; actively seeking participation from Class A and C libraries.

Packing A/V Material to Transit

A member library requested that we remind folks to use appropriate material to transit a/v material through InfoExpress. There has been an uptick in a/v material being placed inside a transit bag without any cushioning (transit box/bubble wrap/etc.).

Transiting Videodisc Update

Last week, we let you know that the renewal count for “transiting videodisc” and “transiting videodisc r-rated” were increasing from one (1) to two (2). This has been completed and the new circulation matrix has been uploaded to the .org website. This should not affect current circulations. The two renewals should only appear on circulations beginning today.

Council Meeting

Reminder, the Annual Council Meeting is coming up on April 9th at 2:00 pm ET / 1:00 pm CT. During the meeting the 2024 Evergreen Indiana Annual Report will be presented along with project updates and more. Each Evergreen Indiana member library is a council member represented by their library director or designee. Please register here and plan to attend.
