Hatch and Workstation Registration Issues

After some careful testing with Hatch, we have been able to replicate and provide a fix for the following issue with it.

Issue:

When Hatch is active and properly configured, opening a new tab or navigating to an Evergreen Indiana Staff Client page ending in “staff” (with the trailing “/”) would then ask to reregister the workstation.

Original Workaround:

We initially discovered a workaround, where going to certain links or navigating to the splash page URL directly would fix the issue.

Issue Fixed:

With the assistance of some Evergreen Indiana libraries yesterday, we were able to replicate and confirm the issue, and we have since added a fix for this.

If you are still having this issue on a particular machine, we recommend clearing all history and reregistering the workstation.  Chrome and/or Edge can have a “sticky” cache that keeps the old settings until this is done.
