December 13, 2024 Newsletter
See below for the text-only version of the update!
No Transits or Holds From Monticello-Union Twp Public Library
The Monticello-Union Twp Public Library are beginning to move their collection to a temporary location. Until they reopen sometime in January, they will not be receiving transits. Their items will also be non-holdable and should be hidden from the online catalog.
Update Your Staff Accounts
A number of circ accounts are expiring which causes a “Login failure” to occur. As a LocalAdmin, you can update the expiry date to these accounts. We also recommend adding an email address to the account so someone is notified when the account is due to expire in 30 days.
Refreshers
If you haven’t taken one or both of the annual refreshers for LocalAdmin and/or Cat1 profiles, please consider doing so! They are both available on the EI Learn website. Instructions are available in the course.
Patron Services Committee
Next week, the Patron Services Committee will meet at 2pm (ET) via Zoom for their bi-monthly meeting. Some of the topics include a policy update on drivers licenses, local circulation limit sets, and more. You can join us without registration here.
WOWbrary Renewals
An email was sent to directors on Dec 2 to remind current subscribers and interested parties that WOWbrary subscriptions are up for renewal. Please see that email for more information!
Hatch Update
The Evergreen community has been hard at work updating the Hatch browser extension, and it has been submitted for approval to Google. We’ll provide more information once the extension update nears.
