Approved 2023 Membership Fee Tiers and EI Annual Budget
On Tuesday, June 14, the Executive Committee approved the 2023 Membership Fee Tiers and EI Annual Budget. Information about both are attached to this email. The FAQ page of our website, https://evergreenindiana.org, has also been updated to reflect the new fees.
New Circulation Modifier
On Tuesday, June 21, the Patron Services Committee approved a new circulation modifier. This circulation modifier, equipment-limited, is exactly the same as the equipment-restricted circ mod but without the age limitation. This new circulation modifier is meant to fill a gap exposed by the increasingly diverse items circulated as “Library of Things.” The circulation matrix has been updated. If you experience issues with the new circulation modifier, please submit a helpdesk ticket.
Committee Elections
Ballots have been mailed to the attention of the directors of all member libraries and are being accepted through June 30, 2022. I’m pleased to report that 62% of member libraries have returned their ballots. Thank you.
Evergreen International Online Conference
This year’s conference has concluded. Evergreen Indiana scholarship recipients were able to “rub shoulders” with many stakeholders in the Evergreen open source community including developers, system administrators, and end users from around the world. Many of the presentations and sessions have their slides online now. Check out the session descriptions here and then click on the “slides” link to view. Video recordings will also be available in the relatively near future.
