Indiana Evergreeners,
It might not technically be summer, but we know summer starts when Summer Library Programs launch. I’ve been following many of your programs through social media and am a little caught up in the Ocean of Possibilities myself. It’s been millions of years since so much sea life was seen in Indiana. If you haven’t already, check out the Ancient Seas exhibits at the Indiana State Museum.
Annual Meeting Recording and Slides
In case you missed it, the Evergreen Indiana Annual Meeting was held on Monday, May 23 via Zoom. You can watch the recording here on the Evergreen Indiana YouTube channel. Slides with live links are available here.
Committee Elections
As part of the annual meeting, the Executive Committee approved the slate of nominees for the 2022/23 committee elections. Ballots have been mailed to the attention of the directors of all member libraries and are being accepted through June 30, 2022. I’m pleased to report that nearly 30% of member libraries have already returned their ballots. Thank you.
Evergreen International Online Conference
The Evergreen International Online Conference begins with a pre-conference on Monday, June 13, and the regular conference beginning on Tuesday, June 14. You can still register at a rate of $50 for the preconference and/or $75 for the regular conference. Information is available here. If you’re interested, I’ll once again be presenting with Andrea Buntz Nieman on new features available in the latest versions of Evergreen ILS.
