Weekly Update – April 6, 2011
Evergreen Indiana 2.0
We are officially Evergreen Indiana 2.0! It has been an exciting transition, not without bumps along the way. Thank you for your patience as we have had some hiccups. The following lists includes the known issues and resolved issues to date.
Processes still to be resolved
- Cataloging (merging and deleting items)
Processes okay to resume
- Reports
- Billing discrepancies should be fixed
- SIP connections (including OverDrive and PCCop) – if you have still having difficulties, please open a new helpdesk ticket
- MARC Batch Imports/Exports.
What do I do if I think Evergreen is down?
First, check the listserv messages. If there’s a known problem, the Evergreen Indiana support staff sends messages to the Support listserv when there is a wide-reaching error. What if you can’t log in, and there’s no message on the listserv? You can submit a helpdesk ticket by going this link: http://web.isl.lib.in.us/helpspot/index.php?pg=request. One last thing you can check is the OPAC. If you go to http://evergreen.lib.in.us/, and see a message that says that Evergreen is down, you can tell that you won’t be able to log into the staff client.
Registration for Evergreen Indiana Annual Conference, May 6, 2011

Catalog Freeze for migration
Beginning this Thursday at 5:00 pm there will be a modified catalog freeze in effect until Monday, 4/11, to prepare for the 4/12 migrations.
During a modified catalog freeze, you may work with existing bibliographic records, but you may not generate new bibliographic records, either by importing or original cataloging.
REMINDER:
Overdue fines are due to the circulating library. If an item is lost or damaged, the processing fee and the cost of the item are due to the owning library.
