Weekly Update — March 14, 2017
Migration News
Please congratulate Washington Carnegie Public Library (WTONC) on their successful migration last week! Catalogers, thanks for your patience and please note that we have also already completed the associated de-dupe of bib records.
Please welcome our newest member, Ohio Township Public Library. Their application was approved unanimously by the Executive Committee via electronic ballot.
The New Castle-Henry County Public Library go live has been scheduled for May 3, 2017. There will be a modified cataloging freeze May 1-3, 2017 associated with this migration. Area libraries are invited to participate at the go-live!
Committee News
The Patron Services Committee will meet on March 21, 2017 at 10am at Greenwood Public Library. All interested staff are invited to attend.
Look What’s Here!
We have received the shipping boxes and labels for the DVD transit program! We’re getting things sorted out and working on how best to get the boxes to everyone (they’re a bit awkward to ship in bulk as flat pack via INfoExpress). We’ll be dropping them off, handing them over at conference and meetings, and whatever else we can do get them to participating libraries in the coming weeks. Additional information will be released to the Support listserv.
Conference Season is almost here!
Registration is open for the 2017 Evergreen International Annual Conference. The conference will be held April 5-8, 2017 in Covington, KY.
The 2017 Evergreen Indiana Annual Conference will be held on March 31, 2017 at the Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park Garrison. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Please register now (a link to a list of session descriptions is available on the form)!
