Migration News
We were at Knightstown Public Library last week to help with their recataloging project! Representatives from 5 libraries were on hand to help out. Our thanks to everyone who participated!
The Washington Carnegie Public Library’s go live has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, 2017. A modified cataloging freeze on March 6-8 will be associated with this go-live. If you are in the area and would like to attend the go-live, please let Anna know to expect you! A story appeared in the local news about their migration today!
Committee News
The Cataloging Committee will meet on March 2, 2017 at 10am at Plainfield Guilford Township Public Library. All interested staff are invited to attend.
Maintenance: New Shortnames
Just a reminder that we will be updating everyone to the new shortnames tonight, February 28, 2017. We are hopeful these new names will significantly alleviate name confusion transit issues in future.
Conference Season is just around the corner!
Registration is open for the 2017 Evergreen International Annual Conference. The conference will be held April 5-8, 2017 in Covington, KY.
The 2017 Evergreen Indiana Annual Conference will be held on March 31, 2017 at the Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park Garrison. Breakfast and lunch will be served. Please register now (a link to a list of session descriptions is available on the form)!
Deadlines
The next barcode and library card pool is scheduled for March 6-10, 2017. This will be the final purchase on this contract, so be sure to stock up!
