Board Resolution
The resolution authorizing Evergreen Indiana libraries to accept payment for fines and fees on behalf of other EI libraries is now available at: http://www.in.gov/library/files/Authorization_to_Collect_Payments.pdf . The resolution was sent to EI library directors as well. The deadline for submitting this resolution is December 31, 2010. Implementation of the Credit Card Module is expected to begin January 1, 2011.
Circulation News
There have been numerous instances of damaged media covers being returned to the owning libraries due to the lack of proper padding. To help avoid this from happening, please be sure to wrap your media in extra thick newspaper, bubble wrap, padded envelopes, or other protective packaging. This will also help cut the cost of replacing those cases.
Migration News
The migrations of the Van Buren Public Library and Winchester Community Public Library this week brings to 84 the number of libraries live on Evergreen Indiana. Evergreen Indiana now serves 742,124 patrons.
