Bug Fixes: Claims Returned and Non-Roman Characters
There have been issues with a long-standing bug that caused some Claims Returned items to vanish from patrons’ accounts. We are delighted to announce that the bug has been patched on our servers. Until the item is found and checked in, the record will appear in the patron’s Items Out screen.
Z39.50 record import of items that included non-Roman characters has been patched to port in the characters correctly.
Intra-Evergreen Indiana Payment Program Going Live
We are very excited to announce to the community that the Intra-Evergreen Indiana Payment Program is going live for all members on November 1, 2013. Program contacts have begun training and preparing for the transition. Staff may begin to receive monies on the 1st; first reports will be available on November 2, 2013. Our heartfelt thanks to our pilot group (Brownstown PL, Hussey-Mayfield Memorial PL, Jackson Co. PL, Jennings Co. PL, Lebanon PL, and Thorntown PL) for all their patience and dedication as we’ve developed our reports and procedures! Migration News
Montpelier Harrison Township Public Library’s go-live date is November 5 4. Please note that a modified cataloging freeze will be in place November 1 (after 6pm EDT)-November 5, 2013. Cataloging will resume normally on November 6th unless otherwise notified.
