Weekly Update – July 26, 2011
2012 Evergreen International Conference blog
Planning is firmly underway for the 2012 Evergreen International Conference hosted by Evergreen Indiana in Indianapolis! The various planning committees have met three times, elected chairs, approved a timeline, and organized their upcoming and most pressing tasks. We have created a blog for the Evergreen International community to follow our planning progress and stay informed on hotel and conference registration information:
We will also use the Committees page to display recent conference planning committee activities and decisions.
We will be adding information to the blog as it becomes available. Please check back soon for more information!
Payment Pilot
This is the last full week of the payment pilot between Jackson County, Jennings County and Brownstown. Their last payment log is due on August 1 for the week of July 25-31. Their participation has allowed us to develop and double-check reports which pull all payments received by Library A on behalf of Library B and Library C. There are many things which need to be decided upon before we bring the payment functionality to the entire consortium but we feel confident that we are on the right track. The next step in the process will be a payment pilot using the credit card functionality. We are in discussions to begin that pilot soon. Thank you to Jackson County, Jennings County and Brownstown for your help and participation!
