This 2-part workshop covers what you need to know to be eligible for Cat1 permissions. Part 1 focuses on learning about the MARC Editor and the MARC guidelines specific to Evergreen Indiana. Part 2 focuses more on what actions we can perform within the Evergreen ILS.

Training Videos
The most recent Holds in Evergreen Indiana recording has been uploaded to the Evergreen Indiana Training YouTube channel. If you need an LEU certificate, please see the state’s Continuing Education’s policies on documenting archived webinars.
Annual Refreshers
The annual refreshers have been scheduled for both Local Administration and Cat1 permission holders (see above).
Please remember that this is a requirement to renew your permissions for another year regardless of when you last attended the Local Administration in Evergreen Indiana or Advanced Cataloging in Evergreen Indiana webinars.
LocalAdmin and Cat1 staff accounts are set to expire on either December 31, 2023, or January 31, 2024. If a staff member does not attend or view the appropriate recording, their working account will not be updated and will expire on the set date. This will block the ability to log in to the staff client using that account.
Upcoming Holidays
The Indiana State Library and Evergreen Indiana Admin Office will be closed on Tuesday, November 7th (Election Day) and Friday, November 10th (Veterans Day). If you are having trouble with Evergreen Indiana, please submit a helpdesk ticket.
