2016 Evergreen International Conference
The 2016 Evergreen International Conference will be held on April 20-23 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Registration and the conference program are now available for interested library staff on the conference website. Early bird registration closes on February 15, 2016; partial scholarships will be offered to Evergreen Indiana participants (details will be released after the next Executive Committee meeting).
Committee News
The eContent Committee will meet on February 9, 2016 at 10am at the Indiana State Library. We will be hosting presentations from vendors including GaleCourses.
The Executive Committee will meet on February 9, 2016 at 1pm at the Indiana State Library. We’ll be speaking about the future of SRCS and EI, the international and local conferences, policy update recommendations, and much more!
We need you!
The Evergreen Indiana consortium is member governed by active library staff, and we are looking for representatives who are excited about shaping the consortium over the next few years! Committee members are generally expected to commit to 3 years of service, attending 4-6 committee meetings each year as well as representing the committees at conferences, roundtables, trainings, and other public meetings. The nomination form is available now at: Committee Nomination Form.
- The Cataloging Committee offers an open invitation to any interested staff person.
- The eContent Committee offers an open invitation to any interested staff person.
- The Executive Committee is seeking two (2) Class C representatives, one (1) Class B representative, and one (1) Class A representative.
- The Patron Services Committee is seeking one (1) Class C representative, one (1) Class B representative, and one (1) Class A representative.
You may self nominate or nominate another qualified individual. The nominations are open until February 12, 2016. If insufficient nominations exist for a given class of library, available nominees may be listed on the ballot as at-large representatives for the seat in question.
