Happy Thanksgiving!

It’s the season to be thankful for all of the tremendous work each and every Evergreen Indiana library has done to share resources, collaborate with other member libraries, and build opportunities to serve our patrons and our communities in ever improving ways! You’d done this by communicating, volunteering, sharing, and partnering. You’ve been outstanding ambassadors for Evergreen Indiana to other libraries, demonstrating that we are a community that is excited about working together for excellence.

Maintenance Downtime Notice

The Evergreen Indiana servers will be unavailable for both patrons and staff from 9pm EST December 1, 2015-8am EST December 2, 2015 while maintenance is performed on the network. This will also affect OverDrive and other third party products that require live server access. Please watch the Support listserv for updates on the timeline.

Support News

The Indiana State Library will be closed, and INfoExpress deliveries will be suspended on Thursday and Friday, November 26-27, 2015 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

eIDC News

We are soliciting sponsors for the 2016 periodicals platform fee. Thanks to the libraries that have already volunteered! Just as a reminder, if every eIDC member library contributes, it’s only $35 per library. We are opening the sponsorship tiers at $350 for Class A/B libraries and $150 for Class C libraries. If you know that you would like to participate, but cannot commit to the posted tiers with your available budget, please let Anna know the rate at which you would be able to contribute. Last year we began at the tiered levels and were able to discount each tier by 30% once all of the sponsors committed!

The eIDC welcomes new member Covington-Veedersburg Public Library.
