Notice Issues – Update
Evergreen began sending current notices via email last week. SPAM filters and ISPs that filter out Evergreen notices may still not allow our messages to go through. Patrons may work with these providers to allow messages from the @evergreen.lib.in.us domain through.
Additionally, all the PDF notices (45 day, damage, collections) have been updated. Libraries may wish to check each notice to make sure items have not already been returned or fines paid before mailing to minimize confusion.
Birthday Bug – Update
The bug that was causing birthdates to save has been corrected. The Staff Client now displays the birth date as it has been entered in the patron registration/edit screen. Please submit a Help Desk ticket if you are still experiencing problems with this issue.
Staff Client Enhancement
Links to the Evergreen Indiana blog and Staff Training Documents have been added to the Administration panel in the Evergreen Staff Client.
You must clear the cache and reboot the client to see these changes.
Annual Report Tutorial
A tutorial for using Evergreen report templates for the 2010 Indiana Public Library Annual Report is available on the Staff Training Documents website.

January 18: Advanced Cataloging Training, 9 am – 4 pm, Paoli Public Library
(Attendees must have taken the Introduction to Cataloging in Evergreen Indiana class.)
January 20: Admin/Reports Training, 10 am – 12 pm, Indiana State Library
