Cataloging Roundtable, Redux
Due to technical difficulties, we were forced to postpone the formal presentation portion of the roundtable last week. We have set a new date, July 30, 2014 at 11am. Our guest speaker, Stephen Smith of the University of Illinois Chicago, will present on RDA for EI Copy Catalogers. This LEU-eligible course will include a review of RDA basics and what copy catalogers should consider when converting or using RDA records. If you were registered for last week’s roundtable, you do not need to reregister. If the change of date means you’ll be able to join us for the first time, please register using the link below.
Migration News
We have set a tentative migration weekend for the North Madison County Public Library System of September 26-30, 2014. A modified cataloging freeze is anticipated during that weekend. Further information will be forthcoming as available.
