Migration News

Culver Community Schools successfully migrated to Evergreen Indiana today as the second member of the School Pilot Project.   The members of school consortium will use the “SchoolRestricted” user profile. The “SchoolRestricted” user profile permits the cardholder to use only the school library, not the collections of the public libraries in the Evergreen Indiana consortium. Cards will not be issued to the students at this time as they will continue to use a student id to check out materials at their school library.

Patron Types: When should I use the Student Card Type?

Student cards are assigned to Indiana residents who do not reside in the library district but who attend a K-12 public or private school located in the library district.  This card “may” be issued by Evergreen Indiana libraries as authorized pursuant to IC 36-12-2-25(d). Do not use this card for “teachers” or as a “juvenile” card.  Patrons assigned this profile should be reminded that the issued Evergreen Indiana library card is valid only at the library issuing the library card.
