Register for Annual Meeting

The Evergreen Indiana Library Consortium’s (EILC) annual council meeting is scheduled for 2pm (ET) on Thursday, April 23. Each member library holds a seat on the council and their director or their designee votes on matters of bylaws and committee membership. We’ll present a 2025 review of the consortium and approve the slate of committee nominations. If your director or designee has not registered, please do so! You can see the agenda here.

With the increase in published materials that have been made in part or entirely with AI assistance, the Cataloging Committee determined it was important to include direction for catalogers on how to enter this information into the MARC records. The “Artificial Intelligence” section has been added to the procedures guide with instructions on how to enter information in the 500 and 700/710 fields. Remington Cataloging Parties

Remington Carpenter-Township Public Library is continually cataloging their collection into Evergreen and they need YOUR help! We have scheduled cataloging parties through August, so if there is a date that you’re able to attend, please fill out the form here. The next dates are: April 30, July 21, and August 28.
