Committee Nominations Are Open!
The Evergreen Indiana Library Consortium is member governed, with volunteers from member libraries representing their colleagues, peers, and communities on the Executive, Cataloging, Patron Services, Aspen, and eContent Committees. The Executive Committee is the main governance board for the consortium.The Cataloging, Patron Services, Aspen, and eContent subcommittees create, clarify, and refine procedures related to work in member libraries as well as make policy recommendations to the Executive Committee.
Nominations are now being accepted for the 2026 Committee Election ballot. Self nominations are encouraged! The following seats will be open. The call for nominations will close on Friday, April 3rd at 8:00 am EST. The slate of nominees will be presented at the Annual Evergreen Indiana Council Meeting to be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 2 p.m. ET/1 p.m. CT for approval by the Library Council. Please remember that each Evergreen Indiana member library is a council member being represented by their library director or designee

Seats to be filled are as follows:
- Executive Committee
- 2 Class A library representatives – 3 year term (2026-2029)
- Class B library representative – 3 year term (2026-2029)
- Patron Services Committee
- Class B library representative – 3 year term (2026-2029)
- Class C library representative – 3 year term (2026-2029)
- Cataloging Committee
Open to active Cat1 or Cat2 staff at member libraries
- eContent Committee
- Open to member library staff
- Aspen Committee
- Open to member library staff

Register for Annual Meeting
The Evergreen Indiana Library Consortium’s (EILC) annual council meeting is scheduled for 2pm (ET) on Thursday, April 23. Each member library holds a seat on the council and their director or their designee votes on matters of bylaws and committee membership. We’ll present a 2025 review of the consortium and approve the slate of committee nominations. If your director or designee has not registered, please do so!

Patron Services Committee
The Patron Services Committee meeting dates in April and August have been updated to accommodate schedule changes. Please update your calendars with these dates:
Thursday, April 16th, 2026 at 1:00 pm EST
Wednesday, August 12th, 2026 at 2:00 pm EST
All other Patron Services Committee meetings will stay the same.
eContent Committee
The eContent Committee is reducing the number of meetings they have per year. The remaining meeting this year is:
August 4th, 2026 at 10:00 am EST
Aspen Committee
The Aspen Committee meeting date in April has been updated to accommodate schedule changes. Please update your calendar with the new date:
