Hold Pick Up Expiration 

Just a reminder, according to Evergreen Indiana policy, patrons have one week to pick up their holds from the holds shelf. There’s been an uptick of libraries keeping holds on the shelf 30+ days after they’ve expired. Please check your hold shelf regularly and send expired holds back to their home library. 

Membership Fee

Just a reminder, membership fee payments are due on February 6th. If you have any questions, contact Courtney.

Notice for 2025 Annual Report Stats

Because there is a delay in receiving annual report data from the state library, there will be a delay in sending out the Evergreen Indiana statistics. We will let you know when to expect your custom reports as soon as we can.

REMINDER ABOUT SERVER MOVE

The Evergreen Indiana servers are being moved from an off-site data center to the Indiana Office of Technology’s data center on the government campus. In addition to saving some money, this move will put the data center closer to the Evergreen Admin Team. All good news! The bad news? The servers will be offline while Evergreen and IOT staff physically move them from one data center to another. The move will take place on January 31st and February 1st. What does this mean for your library? The Evergreen system will be completely down during this time. This also includes Evergreen and ISL listservs, the helpdesk, evergreenindiana.org, and ConnectIN email and websites. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we complete the server move!  

tl;dr

• All Evergreen Indiana and State Library servers are being moved January 31st and February 1st
• All Evergreen Indiana servers and websites will be completely down
• All Evergreen and ISL listservs and helpdesks will be completely down
• ConnectIN email and websites will be completely down

Please note: your patrons will still have access to Libby and hoopla while we’re down. 

Remington Cataloging Party

The Remington Carpenter Township Public Library is cataloging their collection into Evergreen prior to their full migration into the EILC. The next party is scheduled for Thursday, January 29 from 10:00am – 4:00pm (ET). If you wish to attend, please RSVP via this form. You do not have to attend the entire six hours. Please let us know when you believe you will be able to attend. Original cataloging may occur!
