No Update Yet for 2025 Annual Report Stats

Because there is a delay in receiving annual report data from the state library, there will be a delay in sending out the Evergreen Indiana statistics. We will let you know when to expect your custom reports as soon as we can.

THE BIG MOVE IS FINALLY HAPPENING!

The big server move is happening THIS WEEKEND (Jan 31, Feb 1)!! Our servers are being moved from an off-site data center to the Indiana Office of Technology’s data center on the government campus. In addition to saving some money, this move will put the data center closer to the Evergreen Admin Team. All good news! The bad news? The servers will be offline while Evergreen and IOT staff physically move them from one data center to another. What does this mean for your library? The Evergreen system will be completely down during this time. This also includes Evergreen and ISL listservs, the helpdesk, evergreenindiana.org, EI Learn (Moodle), and ConnectIN email and websites.

tl;dr

• All Evergreen Indiana and State Library servers are being moved January 31st and February 1st
• All Evergreen Indiana servers and websites will be completely down
• All Evergreen and ISL listservs and helpdesks will be completely down
• ConnectIN email and websites will be completely down
• The Evergreen Indiana Learn (Moodle) site will be completely down

Please note: your patrons will still have access to Libby and hoopla while we’re down. 

Upcoming Webinars

Local Administration for Evergreen Indiana has been scheduled for the last Wednesday of each month in 2026 (except for November and December!). This is not an alternative to the annual refresher that all LocalAdmin holders must take. Register here!

We’ve finally scheduled trainings for the new reporter! New Reporter Basics (Feb 18 @ 2pm EST) will be for those who have never used the report module before. We’ll be creating folders and learn how to clone existing templates for use. For those who’d like to dive into the templates themselves, join us for New Reporter Advanced (March 31 @ 2pm EST).

On March 3 @ 3pm EST, we’ll be looking at how to use the inventory function in Evergreen: best practices, report templates, etc.
