December 19, 2025 Update
Admin Office and State Library Closed Dates
The EILC Admin Office will be closed Wednesday, December 24 – Friday, December 26. The State Library will be closed Thursday, December 25 – Friday, December 26.
Updated Lost & Paid Delete Schedule
A change has been made so that items marked as “Lost & Paid” will not automatically delete until the 1st Sunday of the next quarter. This will allow libraries that track these materials a little more time to determine next steps.
New Cover Art Vendor
Starting after hours on December 29, cover art will begin loading into the catalog via ChiliFresh. This will take some time as the original artwork from Content Café needs to be removed first.Some records may look like they do not have cover art when it’s just waiting in the queue.
Aspen’s new setting will also be enabled on the 29th. Expect a delay there, as well.
Upgrade Report
We’ve been making discoveries after the upgrade! We wanted to let you know about some of the things we have been working on thanks to you!
Any tickets we list are being watched by the Admin Team for future fix releases.
Some fixes have already been applied to the Holdings Editor. Please let us know if you find any further issues.
New Reporter
We are finding that more and more older templates are not backwards compatible as well as other strange issues that we had not come across during testing. I still recommend playing around with the new reporter, but feel free to continue using the legacy reporter if you’re more comfortable.
Training on how to use the new reporter will be scheduled after the first of the year.
Bugs
Here are a couple of bugs that we are watching.
Patron Search
Some staff are noticing that when they attempt to run a patron search, zero results are appearing. The bug discussion notes that you may be able to fix this issue by:
- Change the search library
- Refresh the page
- Change the search library back
You may also try emptying the cache, delete site cookies, and/or an Empty Cache/Hard Reload. Just make sure you write down the workstation name in case a localadmin has to re-register it.
Holdings View
Holdings View tab: “Show” checkboxes aren’t sticky
Sometimes when you access Holdings View, the “Show” buttons below the Holdings Maintenance (library selector dropdown) won’t stick. It sounds like this is random.
(PS This is definitely a screen where dark mode doesn’t work as it should!)

We have scheduled the next barcode buying pools through PSI Graphics for 2026. Here are the weeks:
- January 12-16
- April 13-17
- July 13-17
- October 12-16
