Cat1 and LocalAdmin Refreshers NOW AVAILABLE!
The recordings for the 2025 Cataloging and Local Administration Refreshers have been uploaded to the Evergreen Indiana Learn website and are ready for you to enroll. If you have never used the Evergreen Learn website before, you will be required to create a free account. This is separate from your working account you use to log in to the web client.

Local Administration Refresher
Who needs to watch the Cataloging Refresher recording?
Any staff person who holds Cat1 permissions that did not attend one of the live sessions held in November 2025. This is regardless of when you obtained these permissions. Example: If you obtained your Cat1 permissions in October 2025, you will still need to view the refresher.
Who needs to watch the Local Administration Refresher recording?
Any staff person who holds LocalAdmin permissions that did not attend one of the live sessions held in November 2025. This is regardless of when you obtained these permissions. Example: If you obtained your LocalAdmin permissions in October 2025, you will still need to view the refresher.
I attended the live webinar (Cat1 and/or LocalAdmin). Do I have to watch the recording(s) on Evergreen Indiana Learn?
Nope!
When do I have to watch the recording(s) by?
You will have until March 1st, 2026 to watch the recording(s). If you do not watch the recording by the 1st, your LocalAdmin permissions will be reverted to Circ1 and/or your Cat1 to Cat2 until you have done so. This will allow you continued access to the web client while you work on completing the refresher(s).
How do I finish the course?
You must watch the entire recording. After you complete the video, your LEU certificate will be released and you will be able to download it from your Evergreen Learn account. The Admin Team will be notified of this and will update your account in Evergreen Indiana. It is recommended to watch the video in one sitting. You will not be able to skip ahead. Unfortunately, I have not found a way to save the stopping point if you leave the screen.
How does it work if I have both Cat1 and LocalAdmin permissions?
We won’t update the account expiration date until you have completed both refreshers.
How does the recording track if I completed watching it?
There will be two questions that pop up during the recording. In order for it to be counted by the system and for your LEU certificate to be released, you must answer these questions. They will appear on the screen for 1 minute.
I watched the refresher, but it didn’t release my LEU certificate. What happened?
You must answer the two questions that pop up during the recording. Otherwise, the site will not track the completion and your LEU certificate will not be released.
When will the refreshers be available on YouTube?
Because we cannot track specific views on YouTube, we won’t provide the direct links to the recordings until a later date.
Can I watch the recording with someone else?
The course will only track the completion of the person who is logged in. If you watch the recording in a group, please fill out the available Google form and list the other group members’ names and email addresses. An LEU certificate will not be provided by Evergreen Learn for those who viewed in a group. You will receive notification via email when your certificate is ready to download.
