Cataloging Procedure Updates
The Cataloging Committee met yesterday and approved a couple new procedures:
Proposed Cataloging Committee Bylaw Amendments
The committee also updated their bylaws during yesterday’s meeting. Proposed amendments can be found here. The committee will vote to approve these updates at the December meeting. Feedback can be sent to committee chair, Monica Riley: monica@myjclibrary.org.
Evergreen Indiana Conference
We’re one week away from the Evergreen Indiana Conference! This year’s conference will be virtual. The schedule has changed a bit, you can see the updated version here. Looking for the session on the upcoming Aspen app? No worries! That information will be covered in the Announcements and Updates session at 3:00 ET. If you’ve signed up for the conference, you’ll receive connection information next week.
Edinburgh Cataloging Parties
The Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library is cataloging their collection into Evergreen prior to their full migration into the EILC. The third and fourth parties are scheduled for Thursday, September 11 and Friday, September 12 from 10:00am – 4:00pm (ET). If you wish to attend, please RSVP via this form. You do not have to attend the entire six hours nor attend both days. Please let us know when you believe you will be able to attend. Original cataloging may occur!
LibraryIQ Reminder
A reminder about LibraryIQ accounts: if you haven’t signed into your account within 90 days, your LibraryIQ account will be purged from the system. If you need help reinstating your account, contact Courtney.
