Cataloging Party in Edinburgh
Our next cataloging party has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Edinburgh Wright-Hageman Public Library. If you are interested in attending part or all of the day, please RSVP via this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeE422hFxm5lYScBwy2B9jZ4MElA-PQrxtv22oFhHuDzIkrLg/viewform. We do have four extra laptops available for those who would like to participate but do not have the equipment, and three extra barcode scanners. Please note in the form whether or not you need a laptop. These will be first come, first served.
Edinburgh Public Library is located at 119 W Main Cross St, Edinburgh, IN 46124 about 40 minutes east of Martinsville.
Light snacks and drinks will be provided, and we will break for lunch!
Brook Public Library Launch
On Wednesday, September 3rd, Brook Iroquois Washington Public Library will launch as the 133rd public library member of the Evergreen Indiana Library Consortium. As is the custom, we would like to open the opportunity for staff from other member libraries to participate in this launch. If you would like to participate, please indicate that by filling out the form linked below. This is a great way to build camaraderie and show support.
Tuesday, September 2nd will be a staff in-service day. There will be “work to do” and EGIN admin staff will be on-hand to guide Brook staff through these processes after a training refresher. Your experience and perspective are a great asset during this process. On Wednesday, the doors will open. Support and encouragement are the name of the game for Wednesday. If you can, we’d love to include you.

Reminder, the Executive Committee and Patron Services Committee will meet during the Evergreen Indiana Conference.
SMS Carrier Reminder
Just a reminder, even though we no longer need the SMS carrier to send text message notifications, the Evergreen system still requires one to be selected in the patron’s record. If one isn’t selected, the patron will not receive their notifications.
