Aspen Reindex to Run on May 26
Some updates are scheduled to occur to our Aspen system on Sunday, May 25. This means that the nightly reindex will begin at 2am on Monday, May 26 to administer those changes. A reminder that when this occurs, Evergreen itself will still be active and usable, but the connection between it and Aspen will be severed until the reindex is complete.
Reminder on Returning EI Transit Boxes
If you are sending extra EI transit boxes to the State Library, please make sure they are bagged or placed in a larger shipping box. They can either have a transit slip to the Indiana State Library, or have a label that says “Extra Boxes.”
Also, please do not return Evergreen-branded boxes to the State Library if they are in poor condition. If they are more squishy than boxy, and you wouldn’t feel comfortable sending your material in them, please handle them locally. We would really appreciate it!
Lastly, I (Britta) do sincerely apologize for the delay in getting transit box requests out to libraries. I should be caught up by the end of next week.
Closed for Memorial Day
The Indiana State Library and EI Admin Office will be closed on Monday, May 26 in observance of the holiday. If you are open and are having difficulty with Evergreen Indiana, please submit a helpdesk ticket.
