April 16, 2025 Update
Executive Committee Updates
The Executive Committee met online and at Pike County Public Library in Petersburg on April 15. They approved the membership application for Wells County Public Library and all of the submitted scholarship applications for the Evergreen International Conference in May! They also approved the new Rules of Governance for the Aspen subcommittee. Those will be available to view on the evergreenindiana.org website. The next meeting is scheduled for June 17 and will be completely online.
Aspen Reindex to Begin April 19
We will be updating some library settings within Aspen on Friday, April 18. This will cause a reindex to occur beginning at 2am (ET) on Saturday, April 19, which will temporarily sever the connection between Aspen and Evergreen. This maintenance includes un-hiding non-holdable material for libraries that have requested this be done to their collections. We expect the reindex to take at least 36 hours to complete, but will not know the full extent until after the fact. Once the reindex completes, the Aspen server will restart the paused processes.
Evergreen IN Learn Site Down Next Week
Starting Monday, April 21, the Evergreen Indiana Learn (Moodle) site will be down for maintenance. It is expected to be back up by the end of the week. We will let you know when it is available to access.
