Cataloging games

Board games are cataloged in Evergreen as realia using the visual materials format.  If cataloging from scratch you will choose the “Realia_Game” template.

Fixed Fields #

The sources of information will be the top and bottom of the box, similar to a front and back cover of a book. The instruction booklet is also another source of information for the game. While not a preferred source of information boardgamegeek.com is another great resource if game play information is unable to be located on the direct source.
